Product Description

Many businesses rely on irons to maintain a professional finish, but residue build-up on the baseplate can damage garments and impact results.

Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner quickly dissolves sticky deposits and build-up, restoring the surface so your iron glides smoothly and performs at its best, helping protect fabrics and improve efficiency in commercial settings.

 Handy Hint: To prolong the life of your steam iron; descale your iron regularly using Magic All Purpose Descaler. This will prevent element damage caused by scale build-up.

How to Use

  1. Apply a thick layer of Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ onto the stained area of the cold baseplate.
  2. Turn to wool setting and switch iron on. Once the Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ starts to sizzle, switch iron off. DO NOT allow cleaner to dry on the baseplate.
  3. Using the attached scourer pad, rub vigourously in a circular motion until stain disappears.
  4. Wipe off excess with a damp cloth. Clean steam holes with a wet cotton bud.
  5. After use, clean scourer pad using cold water.

For burnt on stains

  1. Apply a thick layer of the Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner onto the stained area of the cold baseplate.
  2. Cover with gladwrap to prevent the cream from drying out and let sit over night.
  3. Remove gladwrap the next morning and wipe baseplate clean.
